Generally the release is timed to commence at 21:00 UK/Ireland Release and 10:00 US release (UK times) and usually there is no loss in service as part of this Scheduled Engineering work. Improvements

  • Update: to manage capacity we'll be enabling retention on a per-customer basis. Please ensure your retention periods are configured as retention may be enabled at any date. Compliance Console: All unconfirmed user accounts will now be removed based on a default 365-day retention period. An unconfirmed user account is an account where the user registered an email/password but never completed their user profile, so is unable to access their account. Additionally, for some customers, the user database may have been partially populated when the site was created and these accounts will have not been confirmed. These unconfirmed user accounts are not visible in the UI or Permissions Manager. We recommend customers reduce the default value from 365 days to a more appropriate value, for example 30 days. See GDPR: Compliance Console for further information.
  • Customer Service Hub: Files can be attached to the FAQs available within the Citizen Portal and Customer Service Hub. These files are uploaded within the Admin tab of the Customer Service Hub. This feature has been updated to improve Security and to work with all browsers without the need to have Flash installed.
  • We have added new field task_ratings_comments to the tasks table. These are the freeform comments a citizen enters when rating a task. The field potentially contains valuable feedback for analysis on provision of services and can be used, for example, in word grams to determine common themes in feedback. On initial release, new data will be live streamed into Redshift and Granicus will be scheduling a migration of historic data over the coming weeks.
  • We have added an option to the Paymentus payment connector to move the exit button to the top of the page above the iframe, and to add custom text to the button.

Bug Fixes

  • We have included a change to reduce the likelihood of duplicate tasks occurring. Submissions that coincide exactly with servers scaling to meet demand were previously being submitted twice; we've added protection to prevent this happening in the future.
  • Section tabs within forms are now inactive whilst a file is being uploaded - this prevents the upload being interrupted and resulting in corruption.
  • We have fixed a bug that caused scroll-bars to appear within IE11 - these scroll-bars (see screenshot) no longer appear.
