If the date of an Event has already passed but there is no archive for it in MediaManager, follow these steps to manually create the meeting archive so that it properly appears on your public-facing site.

  1. In MediaManager, navigate to the Events tab.
  2. Use the calendar to navigate to the date of the Event in question.

  1. Upon creating the archive, MediaManager automatically directs you to the Basic File Properties page for the new archive. By default, the Date and Time fields populate with the date and time that you created the archive, NOT the date and time the original Event was scheduled for. Edit these fields as needed, as well as any other information that you may need to modify.
  2. Review the Status drop-down menu. If you want the archive to appear immediately on your public-facing site, select Public. If you want to make additional changes to the archive before publishing it, such as adding a video (see Adding a Video below), select Pending. If you only want the archive to be available to your internal MediaManager users, select Not Public.
  3. Click Save Properties.
  4. Click Finished.

Adding a Video

If you have a video to add to the archive, you must first upload the video as a separate archive in the same archive folder, and then swap the video to the meeting archive you created using the steps above. For instructions on how to upload a video, see the Uploading a Video section of Creating a New Archive.
Note: When swapping a video between two archives, MediaManager also swaps the statuses and durations of the archives. For this reason, when uploading your video as a new archive, we recommend setting the Status of the video archive to the same status as your meeting archive.

For instructions on how to swap a video between two MediaManager archives, see Swapping Videos Between Two Selected Archives. After swapping the videos, remember to delete the archive that no longer contains the video.
