govDelivery provides a wide range of services for customers. It allows the user to send bulletins, topics etc. to subscribed customers in order to increase digital engagement.

Information about govDelivery solutions and services.

Prerequisites for govDelivery integration to a Customer Portal site:

  • govDelivery account username
  • govDelivery account password 
  • govDelivery api endpoint
  • Version 2 of the Customer Portal site is required

The govDelivery integration will be carried out by Granicus.

Customer Journey

After the govDelivery integration has been set up on the Customer Portal site, the 'govDelivery' option will appear in the navigation bar.

Gov delivery in Self

 

Clicking on the govDelivery link will take the citizen to the available list of categories and topics to which the customer can subscribe, selecting topics they are interest in. Note: all configured categories and topics will be displayed - you are not currently able to pick and choose which are shown in the app. For citizens who are already govDelivery users, the list will show the services that the users are already subscribed to; they don't have to subscribe again (services will be pre-selected).

Sign up for gov delivery

After selecting the topic(s), selection has to be confirmed by clicking the 'Update Subscription' button located at the bottom of the list. If the subscription is successful, the customer will be notified with the following popup message:
