Available for testing on pre-live sites in the UK and Ireland on June 25, then going live on July 1. Released in the US on July 6.
Generally the release is timed to commence at 21:00 for the UK/Ireland Release and 10:00 for the US release (UK times). Usually there is no loss in service as part of this Scheduled Engineering work. If we expect any loss in Service to occur, this will be be within the opening 1 hour window of the release, and we will advise in the release notes.
Special Note
We are migrating our authentication servers across to new hosts and will be routing authentication traffic from the previous auth servers to the new ones for all customer test domains on
Tuesday the 29th of June. Following this change, we will start routing auth traffic from all test domains on the
13th of July.We do not expect this change to have any negative impact. However, out of an abundance of caution we are taking a staggered rollout approach. Please let us know if you experience any new behaviour when authenticating on your test domains from the 29th of June onwards.
govService Platform improvements
- Fixed the PayPal redirect URL so it it goes to payment drop in the UI.
- Improved accessibility of the FAQ component. The component can now be navigated using only the keyboard.
- Various security improvements.
Bug Fixes
- We have fixed a rare cause of tasks failing to appear in the interface. Technical impact: Task ID will now be a string of 19 characters in length.
- Fixed a bug within Caseviewer that was intermittently causing the assigned user to be removed from a task.
- Fixed an issue with validation of the Date component used within Forms. Previously, setting the minimum allowed date as June 15 forced citizens to select a date from June 16th onward. Also, setting the maximum allowed date to June 15 allowed the citizen to select June 16th, but threw an error upon submission. With this release, the minimum and maximum allowed dates will match those defined within the Minimum and Maximum validation fields of the Service Designer UI.
- Fixed a display issue in Service that was causing the tables visible within a customer record to overlap.
- Removed a small message containing the text 'Main Content' which would occasionally appear when hovering over elements of the user interface.
