Generally the release is timed to commence at 21:00 UK/Ireland Release and 10:00 US release (UK times) and usually there is no loss in service as part of this Scheduled Engineering work. If we expect any loss in Service to occur this will be be within the opening 1 hour window of the release, and we would advise in the release notes.
govService US - Essential Database Maintenance
There will be a 4 hour downtime window on Thursday 17th of June 2021 from 12am to 4am MDT. This will have no effect on UK customers.

govService Platform Improvements
- For XPay, the parameters 'co', 'bu', and 'lang' are now included and passed forward.
- Enabled the handling of moto payments for Gov.UK Pay by adding the additional field of "moto":"true" in the payment connector's payload.
- Various security improvements (no functional impact)
Bug Fixes
- Previously, when a user navigated back to a previously completed section of a process and changed a selection which - via display conditions - subsequently changed fields visible in a later section, the new fields would not be re-validated. This allowed users to submit the form with blank mandatory fields. With this release we now re-validate all fields upon submission and prevent users from submitting blank mandatory (or required) fields.
- Updated Service > Inbox to improve loading speeds.
- Updated MyRequests to improve loading speeds.
- To improve accessibility, the search button within the FAQ component has been labelled to properly identify its use to screenreader users.
- Fixed a focus trap within modals containing subforms. Previously, upon opening a modal containing a subform, focus would be stuck on the close button preventing keyboard-only users from navigating the form's remaining content.
- To improve accessibility, we updated the 'Drop down with filter' field so that labels are read when a user's focus is on the field.
- Fixed a bug preventing case statuses from updating within CaseViewer.
