General Notice

We would like to remind customers that we advise using email verification for Self Accounts. You may enable this at /admin/self/SiteSettings/Registration. Release 473 will mandate the use of email verification for New Self users and change of email, this is inline with best practice for managing Personal Accounts.

PHP 7.4 Update

The PHP Release of 470 is now running on all sites, and we can confirm that browser calls to the backend servers are 16% faster than for the 469 release, a significant improvement and we hope users are feeling this benefit.

Improvements

• Increased the limit for removing integration logs to 1m rows (from 250k).
• The period during which the Retention processor will run each evening will be increased from 17:00 UTC to 06:00 UTC in UK and Ireland, and 23:00 UTC to 12:00 UTC in US. This will enable an increased volume of cases etc to be removed each evening. Case retention is available and can be configured at /admin/v1/compliance/console/retention/general.

Bug Fixes

• A recent Security update prevented the uploading of specific file types. We have updated our file scanning to allow the uploading of these file types, with no impact to our Security coverage.
• The default color contrast of hyperlinks has been updated to meet the WCAG AA guideline ratio of 4.5:1.
• Zooming is now possible on mobile devices to improve visibility of form details.
• Currently, if you are not logged in and click on a platform URL that requires authentication, you are taken to a login screen to select how to login, e.g., FAM, Firmstep Admin, Self login, etc. Once logged in you were not being directed to the page selected. Internal users will now be taken directly to the requested URL.

Bug Fix

• We have fixed a bug that was preventing attachments from being removed from emails within the Service Inbox. All attachments can now be removed from an email by clicking their respective 'X' icons.
