This article contains release notes for the March 8, 2021 release of govDelivery.

New Features and Enhancements

  • Create and customize your own Call to Action Buttons with a new content block available in bulletin templates created using the Flexible Template editor.
A blue button in a bulletin with text reading "Learn More".

Accessibility Improvements

  • Improved accessibility around the Social Media Login feature on subscription pages to clear up navigation for those using screen readers.
  • Subscribers using screen readers/keyboard navigation should see improved focus to the various alerts and errors presented on subscriber pages, with better feedback and guidance for navigating and closing alerts when they appear.
  • Improved error handling when filling out fields on Subscription pages. Users will receive immediate feedback if they have incorrect or missing information on the subscription page sign-up form. This update also improves the accessibility of the subscriber pages.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected an issue where some characters (such as "smart quotes") were not translated into comparable characters (such as a regular quote) in plaint text versions of bulletins. Note: plain text bulletins are only sent by govDelivery to a limited sub-set of subscribers when an account has been configured to do so. This work only relates to subscribers who have configured their mail client to receive non-HTML emails.
