This article contains release notes for the April 5, 2021 release of govDelivery.

Improvements and Enhancements

  • All file attachments uploaded via Send By Email are now checked both for size and file type. Previously, if an invalid file type was uploaded the Send By Email draft would proceed to the 'confirm' and 'sending' stages, but remove the attachment. Going forward, the system will not create the draft. Instead it will alert an admin that an invalid file type has been uploaded to a draft via an error message sent from govDelivery. Reminder: Error messages for Send By Email and Page Watch are only sent to administrators who are set to receive "Error" notifications for a topic.
  • Added the ability to "right-align" images in the Advanced Bulletin Editor. Image blocks will now have a left, center and right align option when editing them.
  • Various security improvements and enhancements.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected an issue where using the campaign message filter where subscribers "Clicked" or "Did not click" a link (only available for drip campaigns) would not remove the correct SMS subscribers as intended. With this correction, any time a "clicked" campaign message type of filter is used in a drip campaign, any SMS recipients will be automatically excluded as well.
  • Corrected a display issue when editing a drip campaign. Previously, the list of recipients shown for a message was not updating correctly when the message's recipients were updated. This was only a display issue, as the message was still sending to the correct recipients.
  • Improved accessibility for custom signups by ensuring the focus and state of error messages is accurate for those using a screen reader.
  • Corrected an issue where bulletins sent as an A/B (or test & send) campaign and sent to a segment did not list the segment in the Bulletin Analytics Report. This also resulted in those bulletins not appearing when filtering the Bulletin Analytics Report by segments.
  • Corrected an issue where questions that had been assigned to a topic could be updated/modified via uploads to a topic the question was not assigned to. Now when uploading to a topic, if you try including columns (question data) that are not assigned to the same topic (or available globally) The upload will fail. The upload result email will indicate that there were invalid columns in the upload.
