This article contains release notes for the April 22, 2021 release of govDelivery.
Improvements and Enhancements
- Previously, the "Password Required" page for subscribers contained several fields that were not editable/did not honor other account settings. Specifically the Privacy Policy link text and the Help link text. These fields on the "Password Required" page will now match whatever has been set for the same fields on the "Password Reset" template. This change allows users to control the text for both password oriented pages with a single edit.
- Various security improvements and enhancements.
Bug Fixes
- Corrected an issue where it was possible to browse other areas of govDelivery from within the window used for selecting email content in Drip Campaigns.
- Corrected an issue where Group Admins would encounter a 500 error when attempting to access a category's topics.
- Corrected an issue where Send By Email would encounter an error when attempting to create a bulletin for a topic if the topic code contained a dash.
- Updated the list of IP addresses govDelivery filters out of link click reporting (to prevent recording clicks in cases where a "link checker" service clicked a link rather than an actual subscriber).
Note: This filter is not exhaustive, and there are many link checking services available. As such, services or IPs that have not been accounted for may still result in additional clicks in link reporting.
