Encoder permissions determine which groups have access to change the properties of your encoder or use the encoder.
Set Your Encoder's Permissions
Click the Permissions subtab.
Confirm the “Encoder Name” Encoder Permissions page opens.
Setting Your Encoder's Permissions
Select a group from the No Access list and use the arrows to move them to the Read / Write Access list or the Read Access list. The permissions are described below:

No Access
No user access to the encoder settings; a “Permission Denied” message appears if access is attempted. The Encoders subtab will not appear under the Admin tab and the users in this group are unable to select from multiple encoders when creating Events
Read/Write Access
Ability to add, change, and delete a encoder
Read Access
Ability to view encoder settings, but not make changes. Users can select from all encoders during Event creation
