I'm unable to manually start my event in MediaManager. It used to start fine and I'm still able to start it from LiveManager on my pc. When I manually start it from the computer next to me, which is on my network, it starts fine.
Resolution
First, ensure that Windows Firewall has an exception for the internal ip address and its control port. You can find that information by navigating to Admin > Encoders in MediaManager. Select the specific encoder and click Edit. Click the Interfaces subtab and look for Internal Hostname/IP and Control Port .
Next, check to see if pop-up blockers are enabled in Internet explorer and disable them. You can do this by completing the following steps:
Select the Privacy tab. You will see the pop up blocker option near the bottom of the window.
Click Settings.
Enter *.granicus.cominto the Address of website to allow box.
Click Add.
Click Close.
Open Internet Explorer and navigate to Internet Options.
