If you want to reuse an event rather than creating one from scratch, you can copy it using the Copy Event option.

  1. First, locate the original event you'd like to copy. If this event is far in the past, use either the calendar on the Events tab (if you know the date of the original event) or the search field (if you know the name of the original event) to find it.
  2. Once you've located the event on the Events tab (or the Home page if this event is in your list of Upcoming Events on that page), click the Actions button next to the event you want to copy, and select Copy Event from the drop-down menu.

  1. Select the day and time to which you would like to copy the event, then click Copy Event.

Copying an event

  1. The event is copied to the date and time you selected, and the date and time are changed accordingly. If necessary, you can edit the event and change the date and time. When you copy an event, the following apply:

  • Basic properties are copied, but the event is set to manual start.
  • The agenda data is copied but is set to not published.
  • Attendees are copied with the agenda data.
  • Publishing points are not copied.
  • Permissions are copied.
  • Copying an occurrence in a series creates a stand-alone event rather than another occurrence in the series.
