Legistar and Insite

  • We have added a new disclaimer to the Legistar login screen advising users that while Legistar is a secure system, you should take care with what you upload, especially if it's being shared to the public.
  • We have fixed an issue wherein Legistar did not open upon successful SSO login if the user's default application was set to anything except MediaManager. Now, users can successfully log in to Legistar using SSO regardless of the default application.
  • We have increased the character limit on theĀ File Title field when exporting from 255 characters to 1000 characters.
  • We have resolved a bug wherein users using the Laserfiche integration were prompted to log in each time they attached a document. Now, users remain logged in while attaching multiple documents.
  • We have implemented improvements to attachment file conversion in Insite OLS, so that attachments added using UFC as the file conversion method convert to PDF by default. Previously, only attachments added using GFC successfully converted to PDF.
  • We have resolved a bug wherein Insite truncated the names of some attachment files upon download when the names contained two or more periods. Now, these attachment files retain their full names when downloaded.
  • We have resolved an issue wherein ampersands (&) did not display correctly in the Boards and Commissions drop-down menu on Insite. Ampersands in the names of boards and commissions now display as expected.
  • We have fixed an issue wherein Insite returned a server error when trying to open the Legislation Text report.
  • We have updated the Legistar WebAPI to return a clearer error when attempting to POST an office record without supplying a start date. We have also updated Swagger API documentation to reflect the start date as a required field.
  • Various security updates and improvements.
