Boards and Commissions

Bug Fix

  • Boards will now appear in alphabetical order when viewed in the Appointments page search filter.

Legistar and Insite

Improvements

  • As we expand support for Word reports, we created a new section called Word Templates in System Settings that contains all the settings for Word reports. Note: Any previous settings will be moved to this section.

  • Users can now add words to the spellcheck dictionary. Use the Add to Dictionary feature to add words that are not recognized as valid. This will prevent the word being marked in red in the future. Note: The dictionary is computer specific, meaning that a user on a different computer will not see that same dictionary item. To remove a word that was incorrectly added to the dictionary, edit the local text file named 'LegistarCust.DCT' in your local L5 directory. To remove all words, either remove all the words from the file and then save, or delete the file itself. The file will be recreated once a new word is added to the dictionary.
  • Fixed typos in the General Certification Report setting.

Bug Fixes

  • It is now possible to log into Insite from a site that uses iFrame.
  • It was possible to delete agenda items from the agenda when it was in final status and locked. This only happened when agendas were accessed by double clicking from the Calendar tab.

MediaManager and Granicus Video

Improvement

  • Updated the Video Anywhere player so that embedded captions on mobile views appear to scroll across the bottom half of the video player, instead of appearing over the entire video frame.

Bug Fixes

  • Embedded video players would receive an endless redirect error on Chrome for Windows and Macs, or prevent viewers from starting the video using the play button.
  • If Video Anywhere player has a resolution of 1024 or greater, meeting documents will appear on the right side of the player window.
  • Jurisdictions that used logos with 'https' instead of 'https' protocol were receiving mixed content errors on players.
  • Users were receiving content errors when archives were played from the administrator homepage.

Novus

Improvement

  • Previously, when exporting a meeting from NovusAgenda to Media Manager using the Granicus Integration and selecting 'Include Attachments' checkbox, attachments were not included with the Items in Media Manager. All public attachments are now included for Items on a meeting when 'Include Attachments' is selected.

Bug Fix

  • On the Homepage, we changed the text 'My Draft Items' to 'My Group's Draft Items' to more accurately represent that draft items are tied to groups.

Peak Agenda

Bug Fixes

  • When using rich text editing, type-ahead select was not working for agenda sections on the item details as well as the agenda/add item options.
  • Added the Calibri font to Minutes so that it appears in the menu for Motion Text and Notes and will appear for formatted text in minutes summary reports. When the default font in Peak for Rich Text Editing is set to Calibri on the Settings page, it will show as the default font on the font selector for motion text and notes.
  • Meeting body members would intermittently appear out of order in Peak Minutes, due to an issue in MediaManager code.

SpeakUp

Improvements

  • Improves the way that emails are sent from SpeakUp when an Idea is updated to improve application performance.
  • Added pagination to comments when viewing an Idea or user profile within SpeakUp to improve application performance.

Bug Fix

  • SpeakUp was failing to export and accurately display eComment data if an item such as a user profile or agenda item with a comment associated with it had been deleted.
