Boards and Commissions

Bug Fixes

  • Users were not able to successfully update and save changes to an applicant's phone number.
  • Applicant phone numbers would frequently display additional/unnecessary colon symbols along with the phone number data.

Legistar and Insite

New Feature

We added the ability to send emails to approvers in an ATS when an attachment is edited, added, deleted, or if notes are updated in Legistar and Insite. Emails will be sent to the drafter, any approver or FYI who has been passed in the sequence. Current approvers and all approvers following will not receive an email. This works the same as it does for Text File edit emails. If Early Approvers is enabled, only approvers who have already taken action will receive an email and those who have not taken action will not.

How to enable
This feature is not enabled by default. To enable this feature, go to System Settings and expand the Approval Tracking section, and then use the dropdown menu to select Attachment Change Notice next to 'Email template: Attachment changed in ATS' and Yes next to 'Send email on attachment change when in ATS'.

Bug Fix

  • 'Old' file packet (destination 'Packet') was not producing any attachments in the local output folder.

Security Update

  • Updated third party components to improve security in Insite.

MediaManager

Bug Fix

  • Public Notes, Motions, and Votes were not returned in advanced search results.

Novus

Bug Fixes

  • When adding an item to a meeting, the custom data from the item was present in the meeting XML, but was not present in the minutes XML when the meeting was pushed to minutes.
  • "Salutation" was misspelled as "Saluatation" on the new user page.

Peak

Improvement

  • Added a setting that will automatically check the 'Set up Approvals' checkbox on the agenda item creator screen. This means that when the drafter creates the item, they will automatically be taken to the Approval Status tab to add the workflow for the item. If the drafter does not want to add the workflow, they can uncheck the 'Set up Approvals' checkbox. Note: This setting does not affect the status of the checkbox on the edit agenda item screen, but the user can still add the workflow if necessary.

This setting has to be enabled before you can start using it. To enable, go to Admin > Configuration > Settings, then switch the toggle in the Add New Workflow section.

Bug Fix

  • Updated the meeting date functionality for the agenda item creator. When selecting a meeting body, the drafter will see meetings for that body up to 12 months in the future. There will be no more scrolling through past meeting dates to get the future dates. On the meeting editor, we have fixed the meeting date field for recent items (on meetings within the last six months) so that the date appears and the View Agenda button functionality is restored.
