Solution

This article contains release notes for the October 18, 2019 release of Legistar and Insite.

Improvements

Following are improvements made to existing features:

  • Updated the error message a user receives when logging into Legistar with the incorrect user name. The message now says "Incorrect username" instead of "Legistar is unable to find your security license", which caused a lot of confusion previously.
  • Clients can now restrict a file's agenda date by either Date or Controlling Body and Date when using the file submission deadline feature. The setting is located in System Settings > Agendas > Restrict Closed Agenda Date By.

Bug Fixes

The following bugs have been fixed:

  • Added support for the Action Note email template variable so that if it is added to the ATS Individual Review Request or Delegation emails templates, it will now show up in those emails.
  • Decreased the time it takes to re-export a meeting to MediaManager.
  • Added X-Frame-Options to prevent ClickJacking attempts.
  • An error message was appearing in certain scenarios when editing the text file in an approval sequence.
  • Insite links to a specific timestamp of a MediaManager video were not opening in Internet Explorer.
