Whether you've forgotten your current password or would like to change your password for security purposes, you can reset your govDelivery password as often as you wish. You can reset your own password from inside govDelivery, and certain administrator roles can also help other govDelivery administrators reset their passwords if they are not able to access their account.
Helping Another Administrator Reset Their Password
You must be an Account Administrator to reset another administrator's password.
In some cases, administrators in your organization may lose or forget their password and not be able to reset their password from inside their account. In this case, a higher level administrator can assist them in resetting their password. To do so, complete the following steps:
- On the left navigation menu, click on the Administrators option.
- Click on the name of the administrator whose password you wish to reset.
- Click Reset Password at the bottom of their Administrator Information.
- The Administrator will receive an email with instructions for changing or resetting their password.
Note: If an administrator's user account is locked--for example, in the event of too many failed login attempts--you will not be able to reset their password. You must contact Granicus to unlock their account. To do so, submit a request at the bottom of this page.
