Quick Subscribe pages are an integral part of the subscription process for your new subscribers. Members of the public can view and select subscription options from your Quick Subscribe pages, subscribing them to updates from your organization and creating a new subscriber profile in your govDelivery account. The Quick Subscribe page can also collect information about subscribers, such as their name, through the Questions feature.
You have the option of enabling a setting that requires subscribers signing up for updates on the Quick Subscribe page to create a password. This password will be required if a subscriber later tries to access their subscriber profile to view and edit their subscriptions, preferences, and answers to Questions (note: if a subscriber is directed to their subscriber profile straight from their inbox, no password is required). As a best practice, we recommend that agencies enable this mandatory password setting (Account Administrators should contact Support to do so). If you choose not to require a password, it will be optional for subscribers to set up a password. Subscribers who opt out will be able to access their subscriber profile without a password with just their email or mobile phone number, depending on what they used to subscribe to updates.
