Can I pin Legistar to the Windows 7 or Windows 8 desktop?

Resolution
Do not pin the Legistar application to the Windows 7 or Windows 8 desktop while the application is running. This blocks Legistar's auto-update functionality. If you need to pin Legistar to the Windows 7 or 8 desktop, make sure you pin the shortcut to Legistar5.exe (Legistar launcher) and not the running application.
If you are sure that you don't have Legistar pinned, it's possible that your version of Legistar5.exe (Legistar launcher) is outdated. Please contact your IT team to have Legistar reinstalled.
