The VoteCast interface shows the text of the current item being discussed, staff recommendations (suggested actions), the mover and seconder, the Motion button, the available documents, and the Request to Speak and Cast your Vote now buttons. Depending on how VoteCast is configured, you may also see the Request to Motion button.

Description
Current Item text
Displays the text for the current agenda item.
Suggested Action menu
Opens the suggested action meeting members should take when voting on an item. A suggested action is only present if it has been pre-populated by the clerk.
When a suggested action is present, the tab will be highlighted yellow (similar to LiveManager) to bring the meeting chair's attention to the tab.
Motion on the Floor menu
Displays the current motion, mover, and seconder on the floor.
Motion in Progress menu
Displays the motion in progress before the mover and seconder are recorded by the LiveManager user.
Mover/Seconder menu
Displays the meeting members that motioned and seconded an item.
Documents button
Opens any documents the clerk has attached that are related to the agenda item.
Request to Speak button
Asks the meeting chair for permission to speak. Your name will be placed in a queue based on the order in which all requests to speak came in.
Motion button
Begins the process of making a motion.
Request to Motion button
Asks the Meeting Chair for permission to make a motion.
On the Floor tab
Displays the current item, motion, or vote up for discussion.
