How VoteCast Works

The VoteCast system communicates with the MeetingServer, LiveManager, and VoteCast Display applications to administer a meeting. You can react to item discussions, motions, and votes using your monitors; your interactions are then output by the MeetingServer. All four applications work in real time across an established network.

The clerk uses the LiveManager application to administer the meeting. Each voting terminal runs on a specific PC that powers the monitors and coordinates with LiveManager.

Note on the VoteCast Interface

Because many of the VoteCast functionalities are customizable, your screens may or may not show all of the features discussed or illustrated in this document.
