Administrators can designate which subscription topics are available as wireless alerts. Once a topic is enabled for wireless alerts, a shorter version (maximum of 160 characters) of the email bulletin is sent simultaneously with the email update. This shorter version can include a link to the bulletin's public shared bulletin page.
*Wireless Alerts must first be enabled for an account before this setting can be enabled within a topic. Group, Account and Enterprise Administrators are able to enable Wireless Alerts for a topic.
If you have wireless alerts enabled for your account, you should create wireless template text for your General Bulletins and Topic Bulletins. This is especially important if you are using Page Watch Auto Send for wireless-enabled topics.
