How do I create an agenda packet from InSite?

Resolution

1. On the Calendar tab, right click a published agenda's hyperlink in the Agenda column, and click Copy Shortcut to copy this agenda’s URL. 
  • Note: Copy Shortcut is available if you're using Internet Explorer as your browser. If you're using Chrome as your browser, click Copy Link Address; if you're using FireFox as your browser, click Copy Link Location.

2. Open Adobe Acrobat and click Create PDF from Web Page.

3. Paste the URL into the URL field, click Capture Multiple Levels, and set Get Levels to 2.

  1. Click Settings and make sure the Create Bookmarks checkbox is selected, then click OK.

  1. Click Create, and wait for the packet to be completely assembled.  

  2. Once it is finished, click File – Save As and save the file to your computer.

​​Uploading Your Agenda Packet to InSite

Note: To upload an agenda packet to InSite, you must belong to a security group that has permission to add meeting attachments.  This is set up in Legistar Administration. Go to System Security > Security Features > Functional List, and make sure the Restrict Meeting Attachments checkbox is not selected for your user group under InSite.

  1. Go to InSite (yourjurisdiction.legistar.com), and click Sign In (in the upper right corner).

  2. Enter your Legistar username and password, and click Sign In.

  3. Once you are signed in, click the Calendar tab, click the appropriate Meeting Details link, and click Add New File.

  1. Upload the Agenda Packet and enter a name.  The Type should remain as Other
