My MediaManager Export Settings are missing or incorrect. How do I fix them?

Resolution

To change your export settings for the current meeting:

  1. Click Tools at the top of the screen, and select Edit Export Options from the drop-down menu. The following dialog box is displayed; it is populated with the settings stored in Administration > Government BodiesMediaManager Export Settings.


 

  1. Edit or select data in these fields:
     

    Field

    Description

    Duration (Minutes)

    Enter or change the meeting duration, e.g., enter 60 for 60 minutes, 120 for 120 minutes etc.

    Camera

    Select the server responsible for recording, streaming and transferring media files to Granicus’ cloud services (data center). It manages data captured during the meeting such as time stamps, notes, motions/votes, and serves as a data repository to other Granicus applications such as LiveManager and VoteCast.

    Archive Folder

    Select the folder under the Archives tab in MediaManager where recordings of the meetings will be stored after the meeting ends.

    Player Template

    Select the preset design for the Player Page that the public uses to view your live meeting and associated meeting documents.

    Archive Status

    Select the archive status after it is uploaded to MediaManager.

    Pending allows an internal user to view and edit the archive and decide when to make it public.

    Public allows citizens to view the archive after uploading.

    Not Public prohibits citizens from accessing the archive after uploading.

  1. Click Save.

  2. Continue exporting your meeting.

To change your export settings for all meetings:

  1. Open Administration: From the Home menu, click Tools, and select Administration.
  2. In the left menu, click Government Bodies.

  3. Select the MediaManager Export Settings tab. The following screen is displayed:

  1. Select the government body for which you want to edit export settings.
  2. In the Duration (Minutes) field, enter or change the meeting duration.

  3. Select a Camera, Archive Folder, Player Template, and Archive Status from the drop-down lists provided in these fields. See above for more details about these fields.

  4. Click Save.
